We're Too Legit To Quit

This weekend the YSA had a multi-regional campout up at Fort Flagler. 

It was super fun! 

Kay was my tent buddy 

and we most definitely had the party tent. 

We brought Avengers, and Phineas and Ferb fruit snacks, 

granola bars,

and Capri Sun! 

What a great campout it was. 

We also got to watch Indiana Jones in the woods! 

That was super cool. 

But on Saturday we had a lovely service project to do. 

Our project was to dissemble old beds from some of the bunk houses 

and to build new bunk beds. 

The Marines apparently were doing it with us

and boy are there some attractive marines out there. 

But that's not the point of this. 

So after we took apart the old rickety and gross beds, 

we had a giant pile of old mattresses. 

So what did we do? 

First the boys created a giant slide 

which was pretty awesome if I do say so myself. 

Then when all was said and done

they created a giant mattress igloo fort. 

That's what these pictures show.

Cause we are just that legit.
