A Very Expensive Game of Capture the Flag

A couple of weeks ago we decided to go play capture the flag with our soon to be assistant managers because we just found out we will be the official managers of our complex in the fall!

I am BEYOND excited! 

Anyways, so my sweet boy tripped over a log, 

and fell on a stick... 

a stick that was still in his hand when he stood up. 

(That black spot on his left hand is the stick all the way in his hand.) 

 I should also mention that he is allergic to pretty much the world, 

so this hand swelling ended up going all the way up his arm very quickly. 

Needless to say we took him to the ER to have the stick surgically removed, 

and get him stitches...

until 4:00 am Sunday morning... 

 A few days after the stitches were removed he had a mysterious liquid leak from his hand... 

turns out his body rejected another piece of the stick that the doctor did not get out. 

This stick was a half inch long. 

I kid you not. 

His hand is healing well now though!
